The Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Malaga, located in the capital of the Costa del Sol -second most important communications and transportation hub in Spain and the first in the south of the country- is located next to the highway that connects the ring roads of Malaga with the Mediterranean Highway.
The Pablo Ruiz Picasso International Airport, 9 kilometers from the Trade Fair and Congress Center, which has had a second runway since June 2012, connects Malaga with the main European cities in an average of 2 or 3 hours, in addition to a railway network that has had a high-speed line since December 2007. Likewise, the dense network of highways allows an agile access to the city, which is surrounded by the East and West Ring Roads, from which the fairgrounds can be accessed.
How to get there
From the Center
There are two ways to access the site from the city center:
Option 1
Continue along the Alameda Principal towards Avenida Andalucía. Follow Avenida de Andalucía and take exit A-7 towards E-15/Aeropuerto/MA-21/ Torremolinos/ Algeciras/ Cádiz. Follow signs to Camino de San Rafael, merge onto Camino de San Rafael. Turn right onto Avenida de las Malagueñas. At the traffic circle take the first exit and head towards Avenida José Ortega y Gasset nº 201, where the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga is located.
Option 2
Continue along Alameda Principal towards Avenida Andalucía. Follow Avenida Andalucía. Take exit A-7 towards E-15/Almería/A-45. Continue on the ramp. At the first traffic circle, take the second exit. Follow the signs to the fairgrounds, located on Avenida José Ortega y Gasset Nº. 201.
From the Airport
Malaga has one of the most important airports in Spain.
Continue until you join the MA-21 and then the A-7 by the branch towards Motril/N-311/Antequera/Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga. Take the exit towards Avda. Ortega y Gasset/ MA-401 and change direction at the fork. Follow the signs to the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga.
By Bus
Malaga’s bus network guarantees you quick and easy access to FYCMA
The Empresa Malagueña de Transporte (EMT) buses Nº4, Nº19 and Nº20 connect the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos with the city center; and bus Nº22 connects Avda. Moliere or the Teatinos Campus of the University of Malaga (UMA) with the venue.
From train station
From the train station you have 3 ways to get there:
Option 1
Follow Calle Héroe de Sostoa up to the traffic circle at Avda. Juan XXIII, turn onto Camino de San Rafael and continue towards Palacio de Ferias.
Option 2
Go down Calle Héroe de Sostoa until the traffic circle at Avda. Juan XXIII, continue until you turn left onto Avda. de José Ortega y Gasset and take the exit to Palacio de Ferias.
Option 3
Head towards Avda. de las Américas until you turn left onto Avda. de Andalucía, continue along Av. de Blas Infante until you take the MA-20/MA-21 ramp towards Palacio de Ferias/Algeciras-Cádiz and follow the signs towards Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga.
